Amazon Haul launched to fight Temu

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy stated that the average selling prices were falling as customers were trading down to cheaper items and buying more essential goods, as written reported by Reuters.

Amazon Haul, a low-cost ecommerce service has launched for some customers in the United States. Aiming to compete against Temu and Shein, it offers a selection of products at $20 or less.

The Amazon Haul will be available for customers when they update their Amazon shopping app and can be found by searching for “Haul” within the app. The storefront would mostly feature products that cost less than $10 and offer free delivery on orders over $25.

Amazon claimed that Haul orders could arrive within one to two weeks, by shipping the products from a warehouse operating in China.

Amazon also stated that the products offered in Haul will be screened to ensure that the products are safe, authentic, and compliant with applicable regulations. All items available in Amazon Haul are covered by Amazon’s longstanding A-to-z Guarantee.
